Old growth forest in prepackaged mailer,
saves the earth,
parcel by parcel.
The USPS, though,
they say is planning to dissolve,
for all the trouble they’ve had with profit.
Profit, they say, is made of
goods and services,
bettered by
simple models.
I want to see these models,
to be their friend,
and at sleepovers: paint our toes.
Yet, if they stay in their glossy print,
I can stay calm,
less anxious.
