the cat is so upset
  he has always been upset
always I have rubbed his ears
and he has by the rat cage sat
  inside my room
I have felt so bad for
rats being caged and
  he is such a bully
pushing through the door each time
 
now there is another cage
carrying his predators and
  he will not enter
when I leave the room to go to places
he will at me
  cry and
 
sometimes I will outside sit for
hours with him
